The Saint Thomas Education Foundation was established in 1982 by Father James Cusack, with a vision to ensure that a Saint Thomas education would always be accessible and sustainable. As the first foundation of its kind in our diocese, it continues to serve as a cornerstone of support for our school and families.
Today, our endowment stands at $3.3 million and growing. This year alone, the foundation is providing $211,000 in direct support to our school and students. These funds make a real and immediate difference, helping cover tuition assistance, classroom improvements, teacher salaries, curriculum enhancements, and technology upgrades – just to name a few.
Our long-term goal is simple but ambitious: to grow the endowment to a level that ensures any family who desires a Saint Thomas education can receive it, and that the school will continue to thrive for generations to come.
There are many meaningful ways to give. Whether through establishing a family scholarship, contributing to endowed or non-endowed funds, making an incremental gift, (monthly or annually), or including the Foundation in your estate planning, your support helps shape the future of Catholic education in our community and leaves a lasting legacy.
